How SEO for Tube Uses Your YouTube Data

  • Your channel's public name, logo, subscriber count, and total views/videos
  • Your recent public video titles, thumbnails, view counts, and durations
  • Basic profile info from Google Sign-In (name, email, profile picture) if you log in with Google

❓ Why We Access It

This data powers features you explicitly choose to use: Channel Showcase (your public backlink page and video grid), the AI-generated "About This Channel" summary, and Channel Coach's personalized advice. Without connecting your channel, these specific features simply won't have channel context to work with — everything else on SEO for Tube works fine without connecting.

💾 What We Store

We store the channel and video information listed above, and the AI-generated channel summary, in our database, linked to your account — so we don't have to re-fetch it from YouTube every time you visit.

🚫 What We Do NOT Store or Do

  • We never store your Google password — Google handles authentication, we never see it
  • We never upload, edit, delete, or modify your videos, playlists, or channel settings
  • We never post comments, community posts, or anything else on your behalf
  • We never access private analytics, revenue, or monetization data — only what's publicly visible on YouTube

🗑️ When Data Is Deleted

Disconnecting your channel from Channel Showcase removes our stored copy of your channel/video data. Deleting your SEO for Tube account removes all associated data permanently.

🤝 Third-Party Sharing

Video titles and channel context may be sent to our AI provider (Anthropic's Claude) solely to generate Channel Coach's replies and the "About This Channel" summary in real time — this data is not used to train AI models and is not shared with any other third party.

🔓 How to Revoke Access

You can disconnect your channel anytime from the Channel Showcase page. To fully revoke Google's access, visit Google Account → Security → Third-party access and remove SEO for Tube.
